A 1-bed flat on the 4th floor of a Victorian block can take longer to move than a 3-bed semi. Here's why and what fair pricing looks like.

What affects a flat-move quote

  • Floor level and presence of a working lift
  • Distance from van to door
  • Permit/loading bay availability
  • Stair width and turn radius
  • Communal door access times

Pricing examples

  • Studio, ground floor: £180–£260
  • 1-bed, 1st floor with lift: £250–£350
  • 2-bed, 3rd floor no lift: £450–£650

Parking and permits

Northampton, Leicester and Milton Keynes councils all support paid permit suspensions for moving days. We organise these as part of the quote.
